The V-zone moved me! Learning that the asymmetric shape is made to slide under the jaw was a real eureka. Releasing the jaw muscles matters, so I always did it by hand — with the mini gua sha it takes far less effort and is so easy. I loved it!

How to use the Orosy ceramic mini gua sha light — we'll walk you through it step by step

Using the ridged zone

Sweep upward in a zigzag from the hairline to the crown, pressing gently over the whole scalp

Press around the front of the ankle, the ankle bone and the Achilles tendon, then rub and sweep the front and back of the calf upward, draining into the lymph behind the knee.

Divide the thigh into four (both sides, front and back), massage upward with steady pressure, and finish by draining into the groin lymph

Massage with the ridged zone from the flank to the IT band to shape the line and release the hip muscles

Using the pressure zone

Sweep in a zigzag along the hairline and massage up to the temples

Use the pressure zone to press gently and release the brow, the eye area, under-eye line and frown lines

Press steadily from behind the jaw up to behind the ear, sweeping upward to prevent puffiness and calm the appetite

Press the points between the fingers and the sole of the foot steadily, massaging in spare moments to help circulation

Cool-! massage

Use it like a cooling stick

Chill it in the fridge (about 3°C) or the freezer (about -10°C) for under an hour, then use it as part of your skincare. It helps ease puffiness, tighten pores and improve firmness

Use it with a sheet mask

Put a chilled sheet mask on your face and massage with the cold gua sha. The cooling feel helps soothe the skin

*Do not use on one spot for more than 10 minutes; move between areas as you massage. Pressing one place for a long time risks frostbite, so please take care

Warm, massage

Use it like a stone therapy

Soak it in warm water (about 60–70°C) for 15 minutes, then use it. It helps circulation and relaxes the muscles

Warm it with a steam towel and massage

Microwave a damp towel for 1 minute 30 seconds, wrap the gua sha in it for about 10 minutes, then massage with the warmed gua sha.

Q. Do I need to apply a cream or oil before the massage?

A. Massaging without a cream or oil can irritate the skin through friction, so we recommend applying a suitable amount of cream or oil before you massage.

Q. My skin turned red after the massage.

A. This is a temporary reaction after a gua sha massage and fades with time. Using the same spot repeatedly can cause tiny bleeding and make the redness worse, so please always massage with a pressure that suits your own skin.

Q. Is there a recommended daily usage time?

A. It varies with your skin and the area you are caring for, so there is no fixed daily limit. For the face, however, we recommend keeping each session to about 3–5 minutes.

Q. How should I store it?

A. After use, wipe off any remaining cream or residue and store it in the box it came in to prevent scratches and breakage.
